Our team stumbled upon a new country-specific report claiming that India is now responsible for 8.7% of the world’s digital ad frauds (estimated by the report at USD18.74 billion).

These new findings by techARC company add to an alarming new trend of increasing loses to digital advertisers.

In 2017 Juniper Research estimated that online ad fraud would have accounted for USD19 billion losses of digital advertisers in 2018.

According to the World Federation of Advertisers ad fraud likely to exceed USD50 billion globally by 2025 on current trends second only to the drugs trade as a source of income for organized crime.

In November 2018 FBI and Google took down ad-fraud network that hijacked nearly 2,000,000 devices and involved 5,000 counterfeit websites.
